Insurance Claims Consulting
Historically, there have always been catastrophic property losses as a result of hurricanes, tornados, flooding, fires, and other property damage events. Our role is to assist with the iterative process of gathering appropriate financial and operational data to appropriately measure business interruption (lost profits) and property damage losses for insurance claims purposes. The claims process is iterative between Insureds, Insurers and other parties. Our role can be extensive or consultative, depending on the needs of the client.
Historically we’ve assisted clients with litigation as experts in commercial tort litigation. We work with client counsel to ensure compliance with either Federal or State rules of evidence and court requirements. Litigation consulting experience includes the prosecution and defense in traditional commercial tort litigation, but also includes subrogation where a party is seeking recovery for potential third party liability.
